Angeletti, Schnars Turn In Double-Doubles; Falconer’s Nine-Game Winning Streak Ends

PANAMA — Natalie Angeletti and Kylie Schnars both had double-doubles as Panama breezed past Cassadaga Valley, 66-37, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 West girls basketball action Monday.

Angeletti scored 10 of her game-high 18 points in the first quarter while adding 11 rebounds and four steals. Schnars had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Panthers (6-1, 2-0). Mandy Brink added 13 points and three assists while Ashlyn Harvey came off the bench with 9 points and six rebounds in the win.

Kaylee Pattyson led the Cougars (5-4, 1-1) with 16 points and five rebounds; Meghan LeBaron had five rebounds and three steals; and Sarah Meder had five assists.

Maple Grove held Olean to just one field goal and one free throw during a 21-3 first quarter en route to a 55-33 Division 1 West victory.

Riley Caskey led the Red Dragons (7-5, 4-1) with 19 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists while Erin Mansfield added 11 points, including three 3-pointers, eight steals and five rebounds. Bre Hill chipped in 10 rebounds, five steals, four assists and three blocked shots for Maple Grove.

JoJo Gibbons led the Huskies (1-10, 0-5) with 16 points.

Junior Sofia Genareo scored a career-high 28 points, including 21 during a 37-9 first half, as Southwestern coasted past Allegany-Limestone, 71-30, in Division 1 West play.

Gianna Hoose chipped in 16 points, seven rebounds and five steals while Reece Beaver had five steals for the Trojans (5-5, 2-2). Genareo also had 12 rebounds and five steals.

Maddie Callen led the Gators (2-8, 1-4) with 9 points.

Mikayla Gabalski-Jones led the Bears (8-3, 1-1) with 16 points while Alex Hultberg had 11 points. Lizzie Schrecengost grabbed eight rebounds, Elise Sposato had nine steals and Amanda Dilts blocked three shots.

Emma Wiggers led the Pirates (6-5, 1-2) with 10 points, Karlen Honey had 10 rebounds and Mikala Einik picked up six steals.

Abby Burrell grabbed 11 rebounds and Gabby Milligan pulled down nine rebounds for the Panthers (7-3, 3-0).

Sarah Disbro led the Golden Falcons (9-2, 2-1) with 14 points and nine rebounds; Courtnee Peterson grabbed eight rebounds; and Ava Fenton had six assists.
