Ryberg Shines With 715 Series At Lucky Lanes

FREDONIA — Zach Ryberg fired a 227-256-232-715 to lead the Jamestown boys to a 3-1 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 bowling victory over Fredonia at Lucky Lanes on Monday afternoon.

Kyle Christensen added a 219-258-164-641 and Colton Cappalino fired a 222-193-196-611 as the Red Raiders combined for a team linescore of 1,069-1,142-933-3,144. Riley Piazza added a 243 game and Brandon Michael had a 223.

The Hillbillies were led by a 204-267-192-663 effort from Jacob Marsh and a 178-226-205-609 performance from Zack Kawski. A 219 game from Sam Kawski, a 204 from Michael Dispense and a 213 from Jacob Patterson gave Fredonia a 989-992-956-2,937 team linescore.

Emily Ryberg led the Red Raiders girls with a 199-178-212-589 while Abbie Derby added a 215-148-154-517 in a 4-0 victory over the Hillbillies. A 191 game from Ashlin Nelson contributed to a 699-651-752-2,102 team linescore.

Allie Cook led Fredonia with a 167-153-156-476 along with a 150-137-160-447 by Gillian Reed. The Hillbillies finished with a 663-602-662-1,927 team linescore.

SALAMANCA SWEEPS GOWANDA

GOWANDA — Logan Armstrong fired a 211-205-220-636 to give Salamanca a 4-0 Division 3 decision over Gowanda at K&L Lanes.

Justin Blakeslee added a 136-196-217-549 in the effort while Dylon Ingersoll fired a 171-151-178-500 to give the Warriors a 990-988-1,036-3,014 team linescore. Salamanca also received a 190 from Jon Wiltsie.

Emma Fiske led the charge for the Warriors girls with a 149-169-140-458 en route to a 4-0 victory over the Panthers.

The Warriors were also led by Jordan Ray, who added a 147-157-135-439, and Maeghan Collins, who fired a 146-128-142-416 to give Salamanca a 800-804-746-2,350 team linescore.
