The seventh annual Community Holiday Haul will be held Dec. 12-14 in front of the Jamestown Cycle Shop on Harrison Street. Keith Martin, Northwest Arena executive director, will collect nonperishable food items and supplies as well as monetary donations from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 12-13 and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 14. Suggested donations include: fruits and vegetables; pasta, noodles, potatoes and rice; sauces, tomatoes; 100 percent juices; laundry detergent (All or ERA); Dawn dish soap; plastic spoons, forks and knives; paper towels, napkins and plates; gift cards to grocery stores; and monetary donations. Proceeds will benefit St. Susan Center. Martin hopes the drive will exceed last year’s total of 5.5 tons of food and supplies.
