Registration is now open for the Jamestown YMCA Youth Basketball League for boys and girls in grades 1-8.

The league focuses on fun, teamwork, and individual player growth. The program emphasizes the child first and the sport second through fair play, sportsmanship and equal participation. The YMCA welcomes all levels of players from beginner to more advanced. Players from outside schools must attend the same school. All Jamestown players must attend a skills evaluation held on Saturday, Nov. 23.

Divisions will be divided as follows: first and second grade coed; third-fifth grade girls; sixth-eighth grade girls; third and fourth grade boys; fifth and sixth grade boys, and seventh and eighth grade boys.

Players will also have the opportunity to attend a Cleveland Cavaliers game. Call the Jamestown YMCA for more information or email basketball@jamestownymca.org.
