FALCONER — Rachael Harper had 10 kills, 11 digs, five aces and a block as No. 7 Falconer won its Section VI Class C2 playoff opener 25-16, 25-14, 25-20 over No. 10 Cattaraugus-Little Valley in prequarterfinal action Wednesday.

Emily Melquist added eight kills, 14 digs and an ace; Ava Fenton had 10 assists, 10 digs, four kills and two aces; and Serena Camarata had 14 digs, seven assists, three aces, two kills and two blocks for the Golden Falcons.

Falconer returns to action Friday with a quarterfinal matchup at No. 2 Wilson.

ALLEGANY — Cameron Riordon had 25 assists and eight aces to lead No. 8 Allegany-Limestone to a 25-13, 25-10, 25-8 Class C2 prequarterfinal win over No. 9 JFK.

Maura Vossler added 15 kills and two blocks for the Gators, who will return to action Friday with a quarterfinal matchup against No. 1 Da Vinci at Riverside High School.
