Woods Lead Clymer To Sweep Of Sherman

CLYMER — Emma Woods had seven aces, two kills and two blocks as Clymer topped Sherman 26-24, 25-17, 25-19 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division girls volleyball Thursday.

Emma Wiggers had four digs and two blocks; Arden Hepler six kills and six blocks; Justine Kuno two aces, two kills and five assists; and Mikala Einink one ace, five kills and four assists for the Pirates (2-4, 2-4).

Amaya Lewczyk had three aces, four kills and 12 digs; Hayden Fisher four kills and seven digs; and Cora Goldberg two aces and 10 assists for the Wildcats.

FALCONER

SWEEPS TROJANS

FALCONER — Falconer was a 25-22, 25-14, 25-23 Central Division winner over Southwestern thanks to eight assists, 15 digs, five aces and one block from Serena Camarata.

Emily Melquist had eight kills, 12 digs, three aces and one block; Ava Fenton 10 assists, 11 digs and one block; and Rachael Harper 10 kills, two blocks and one ace for the Golden Falcons.

Anna Rauh had 10 kills, six digs and two aces; Arrington Restivo 18 assists; and Maddy DuBois nine kills, five digs and one ace for the Trojans.

Falconer also won the JV match 25-22, 25-15, 18-25.

ELLICOTTVILLE

FALLS ON ROAD

SPRINGVILLE — Springville/West Valley was a 25-12, 25-13, 25-16 nonleague winner over Ellicottville.

For Ellicottville, Cyrene Moore had five kills and two blocks; Heli Kongats had four kills, six digs and four blocks; and Makenna Smith had eight assists and four blocks.

SALAMANCA

ALLEGANY — Allegany Limestone was a 25-6, 25-14, 25-16 East Division winner over Salamanca.

Jazzlyn Snyder led the Warriors (2-6, 0-6) with two aces, two kills and three digs.

WILHELMS LEAD PORTVILLE

PORTVILLE — Laura Wilhelm had seven kills and three blocks as Portville swept Cattaraugus-Little Valley 25-7, 25-9, 25-9 in East Division action.

Shayla Wilhelm and Olivia Cook each added four kills; Kylie Blessing had six kills to go with her 24 assists and five aces; and Reggie Tkacik had 12 aces, six digs and 23 service points.

T’BIRDS COAST

TO VICTORY

MAYVILLE — Chautauqua Lake rolled to a 25-5, 25-7, 25-14 nonleague win over Brocton.

Sophie Woodis had 11 kills; Bre Hopkins five assists; Alyssa Reynolds six aces; and Mollie Meadows nine aces with eight assists for Chautauqua Lake.

Cheyanna Rivera had one kills, one block, three digs and an ace for Brocton while Courtney Tobias added two aces, two assists and two digs.

PANAMA STAYS

UNBEATEN

Panama (8-0, 6-0) was a 25-13, 23-25, 25-23, 25-21 winner over Maple Grove (2-4, 2-4) in the Central Division.

Kylie Schnars had 22 kills and five blocks; Natalie Angeletti 14 kills, 10 digs, nine points and one ace; Maddie Johnson 34 assists, seven digs and six points; and Ally Finnerty 10 digs, 15 points and two aces for the winners.

Bre Hill had 23 kills, 10 digs and one ace for Maple Grove; Erin Mansfield one kills, 30 assists and seven digs; Sam Snow eight kills; and Kelsey Tarbrake 18 digs.

HUSKIES TOP RANDOLPH

OLEAN — In East Division action, Olean pulled away for a 25-23, 19-25, 25-14, 25-21 win.

Alyssa Adams led the Cardinals with three aces, five kills, seven digs and two blocks; Brynn Pagett had three aces and six kills; Eve Adams had eight assists and two aces; and Mya Abrams had seven assists.
