SHERMAN — Kylie Schnars had 13 kills and three blocks to lead Panama to a 25-9, 25-14, 25-13 sweep of Sherman in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division volleyball Thursday.

Natalie Angeletti had eight kills, two digs and two aces while Maddie Johnson tallied 23 assists and three aces for the Panthers.

For Sherman, Amaya Lewczyk had two aces, six kills, four assists and four blocks while Maggie Myers tallied three kills, eight assists and two blocks.

COUGARS SWEEP WESTFIELD

SINCLAIRVILLE — Cassadaga Valley picked up a North Division victory over Westfield in three sets, 25-12, 25-9, 25-17.

The Cougars (5-4, 5-2) jumped ahead early and the result was never seriously in doubt. Abbey Dubois contributed nine assists while Grace Warsitz had six kills and four aces. Meghan LeBaron chipped in four aces, two kills and a block.
