Panama Improves To 3-0 In Volleyball

PANAMA– Panama (3-0, 1-0) was a 25-9, 25-9, 25-10 winner over Clymer (0-1, 0-1) in CCAA Central Division volleyball play on Tuesday.

Kylie Schnars grabbed 13 kills and two blocks for the winners; Natalie Angeletti had nine kills, one assist, one dig and four aces; Maci Johnson had 17 assists, one kill, two digs and three aces; while Mandy Brink added two kills, four assists, four digs and an ace.

Emma Woods had a block and five digs while Arden Hepler added two blocks for the Pirates.

Panama won the jayvee contest as well.

FALCONER PREVAILS

Falconer (1-3, 1-0) was a 25-20, 26-24, 25-19 winner over Maple Grove (0-1, 0-1).

Ava Fenton had seven assists and three aces; Rachael Harper six kills and three blocks; while Serena Camarata added five aces, four assists and four kills for the winners.

Erin Mansfield had 15 assists and three kills, Bre Hill two aces and 13 digs, while Kesley Tarbrake added 11 digs for the Red Dragons.

BROCTON — Southwestern was a 25-8, 25-10, 25-7 winner over Brocton.

MAYVILLE — Chautauqua Lake was a 25-13, 25-16, 25-14 winner over Sherman.

SALAMANCA–Cattaraugus-Little Valley was a 25-11, 25-19, 25-20 over visiting Salamanca.

Frontier upended Jamestown, 23-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-18, in an Erie County Interscholastic Conference Division 1 match.

In the junior varsity match, the Lady Red Raiders improved their record to 5-0.
