Clymer Wins Marathon Match Over Brocton

CLYMER — Mikala Einink handed out 15 assists to go along with three kills and a pair of aces as Clymer won a marathon match against Brocton 16-25, 25-20, 25-27, 25-7, 25-20, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division volleyball action Thursday.

Emma Wiggers added eight aces, five kills and two blocks; Alexis Wassink had seven aces and two assists; Arden Hepler had six kills; and Emma Woods had four aces and five kills for the Pirates (1-3, 1-3).

Cheyanna Rivera led the Bulldogs (0-5, 0-4) with five kills, an assist, a block and four aces while Emily Madison had four assists, a block, three digs and an ace.

T’BIRDS STAY UNDEFEATED

FALCONER — Sophie Woodis had 11 kills and a block while Ava Olson chipped in three kills, five aces, seven digs and eight assists as Chautauqua Lake defeated Falconer 25-19, 25-15, 27-25 in Central Division play.

Lily Woodis had six kills, four aces, 15 digs and a block; Jenna Waters had three aces and 13 digs; and Molly Meadows had two aces, five digs and 15 assists for the Thunderbirds (4-0, 4-0).

Ava Fenton led the Golden Falcons (2-5, 2-2) with 13 assists and 10 digs; Serena Camarata had 15 digs, five assists and three aces; Rachael Harper had seven kills and four digs; and Emily Melquist had eight kills and five digs.

Chautauqua Lake won the junior varsity matchup 25-6, 25-16, 25-4.

TROJANS HOLD OFF MAPLE GROVE

Anna Rauh had seven aces and nine digs to lead Southwestern past Maple Grove (1-3, 1-3) 25-22, 25-21, 20-25, 29-27 in Central Division action.

Arrington Restivo had 22 assists; Maddie DuBois had 10 kills, seven digs and seven service points; Megan Cotter had seven kills and seven service points; and Sophia Tallon had eight digs and seven service points for the Trojans (3-4, 3-2).

Bre Hill led the Red Dragons (1-3, 1-3) with 20 kills and 10 digs; Erin Mansfield had 30 assists and two kills; Sam Snow had eight kills; and Kelsey Tarbrake had 15 digs.

Southwestern won the JV matchup 25-19, 9-25, 25-23

WARRIORS TOP HINSDALE

SALAMANCA — Makayla Burch had four aces, a kill, an assist and four digs while Jillian Rea had three aces, three kills, an assist and seven digs as Salamanca beat Hinsdale, 25-18, 25-13, 25-16, in nonleague play.

Jaedan Hubbard had two kills and two digs while Jayden Harris had a kill and two digs for the Warriors (2-4, 0-4 CCAA East).
