NORTH COLLINS — Silver Creek blanked Cattaraugus-Little Valley 3-0 to open the season Tuesday night.

Junior forward and captain Carly Barrett scored two of Silver Creek’s three goals, one being an unassisted goal in the 27th minute, and the other coming late in the second half with an assist from Kylie Procknal. The Black Knights’ third goal was scored by Jade Bouvier on a header with an assist from Jaylah Cossin.

Junior goalkeeper Alina Beadle turned away both Timberwolves’ shots on goal.
