The North American Hockey League unveiled its 2019-20 schedule on Monday, which will once again begin with the 17th annual NAHL Showcase.

This year’s showcase will be held Sept. 18-21 at the Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota, with all 26 NAHL teams in attendance for either three or four regular-season games.

“There is simply no other event like this that brings together the number of scouts that we see during the five days and we look forward to seeing a new crop of players and talent showcase their skills,” NAHL Commissioner and President Mark Frankenfeld said in a press release.

The United States National Team Development Program of the United States Hockey League will be playing in the event in two exhibition games against the Odessa Jackalopes on Friday, Sept. 20 and the Amarillo Bulls on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The Jamestown Rebels will get started with four games at the showcase, as they face off against the Austin Bruins on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 1:30 p.m., Minnesota Magicians on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 5 p.m., Kenai River Brown Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20 and the Topeka Pilots at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The Rebels will travel for a three-game series against the Northeast Generals on Sept. 27-29 before returning home to Northwest Arena.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will visit Jamestown for the Rebels’ home opener on Friday, Oct. 4 for a 7:05 p.m. contest and another at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday.

After those two games against the Knights, Jamestown will head back on the road to play a pair of games at Androscoggin Bank Colisee against new divisional opponent the Maine Nordiques.

The Rebels will have to wait until the weekend of Nov. 7 to get another shot at last season’s Eastern Conference Champion Johnstown Tomahawks, when they travel to 1st Summit Arena for a three-game series.

Johnstown’s first visits to Northwest Arena will be Nov. 7 and Nov. 9. The Rebels will also close their regular season April 3-4 with a pair of 7:05 p.m. games against the Tomahawks.
