The Bear Lake Rod and Gun Club, located on the Cassadaga-Stockton Road, will host a Chappy’s Outdoor Benefit 3-D archery shoot Aug. 25 to support its work with our nation’s wounded, injured and ill veterans.

Walk-on archers may register from 7 a.m. to noon. The shooting fee is $12, which includes either a Chappy’s T-shirt or hat, with all proceeds going to Chappy’s Outdoors. For those interested in the money shoot, registration will be held from 7-9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. The shooting fee is $35 with an 80/20 split. The money shoot includes a barbecue pork dinner. Both events are known-yardage targets. The event will also include long-distance novelty shoots.
