Dear Sports Editor:

On behalf of the board of directors of Chappy’s Outdoors, I want to express our thanks to Rudy Abersold and his volunteers at Bear Lake Rod and Gun Club.

They organized a special day of archery while raising funding in support of Chappy’s Outdoors. Chappy’s is a ministry to our nation’s wounded, injured and ill veterans. Thanks also to several other Rod and Gun Clubs, and local businesses that contributed to the event. It was a great day of fun for all as they participated in the sport of archery. Thank you as well to all the archers that participated. You were a great part of the successful event.
