The Southwestern Soccer Club U16 girls soccer team went 3-0 in pool play and went on to win the U16 division of the Clarence soccer tournament. Southwestern won, 2-0, against the Olean Express SC; 4-0 against Churchville; and 3-2 against Concord in pool play. After tying Olean, 1-1, in the championship game, Southwestern went on to win, 3-1, on penalty kicks. Throughout the tournament, Tyra Clark and Mia Delong each scored three goals while Emily Kimball, Jillian Horton, Calista Kestler and Brynne Conley each added a goal. Angel Bursch had two shutouts and Ashley Crouse netted the winning goal in penalty kicks.
