Coleman’s Team Claims LINKS Charity Tourney
Pro Kristin Coleman teamed up with Rich Dixon, Matt Hartweg, Doug Peterson and Scott Crist to win the LINKS Charity Pro-Am for Men’s Amateurs on Monday at Moon Brook Country Club with a 58.
In the Mixed and Women’s Amateurs Division, Kristy McPherson, James Cirbus, Cecil Miller, Mary McCleary and Kevin McCleary won with a 62, taking a matching of cards over LaRee Sugg, Peter Sullivan, Derek Dawson, Alex Sullivan and Sonja Mlacker.
In the Men’s Amateur Division, Amy Reed teamed with Tom Short, Tom Reading, Charlie Moss and Steve Bowman to take second with a 60, winning a matching of cards over Kathleen Ekey, John Zawacki, Kurt Eimiller, Tom Olson and Michael Wellman.
Tied for fourth with 61s were the teams of Nannette Hill, Ross Fargo, Noah Allen, Chris D’Angelo and Joe Coombs as well as Lisa Ferrero, Tom Holt, Dean Weaver, Gary Johnson and Tim Magnuson.
Brittany Benvenuto teamed with Darren Cox, Ryan Munson, Doug Robinson and Bryan Gealy to shoot a 62 as did the team of Wendy Ward, Cliff Brazie, Jon Mechling, Bill Turfitt and John Schwanke.
Sixty-threes were turned in by Jenny Coleman, Brandon Wade, Michael Streed, Jeff Tindell and Isiah Swerdon; Moria Dunn, Chuck Caldwell, Allan Johnson, Scott Lester and Gary Hinman; and Marianne Morris, David Olaphant, Richard Smallwood, Scott Bartholow and Mike Frewer.
Sixty-fours were carded by Dana Bordner, Jon Stineman, David Kinsley, Garfield Meeks and Jim Smith; Rachel Rohanna, Tom Hahn, Jim Latona, Henry Cook and Dale Wunsch; and Emma Jande, Tim Shults, Steve Swanson, Mike Roberts and Roy Glosser.
Turning in 67s were Jean Reynolds, Richard Vinne, Jonathan Schembie, David Kurpiewski and Pat Collins; Nicole Jeray, David Thomas, Gerald Carlson, Ron Hasson and Dan Thomas; and Audra Burks, Tom Marra, John Marra, Bill Burk and Mark Renoza.
Kate Golden teamed up with Kameron Brooks, Frank Knee, Garrett Brooks and Regan Brooks to shoot a 68 while Jackie Gallagher-Smith, Jim Pullan, Peter Stark, Ricky Turner and Tom Turner shot a 70.
In the Mixed and Women’s Amateur Division, Julie Aime, Hadley Weinberg, Kim Meabon, Bill Jackson and Casey Windoft were third with a 63 while Spencer Warne, Lori McGowan, Kim Gier, Adolph Morando and Betsy Morando were fourth with a 66.
Lee Ann Walker-Cooper, Fred Pellerito, Tiffany Baker, Dan Bender and Todd Frangione tied Patty Jordan, Robin Ferrari, Tammara Hodges, Lorraine Diggs and Mary Bosek with 68s.
