The Sports For Kids Golf Tournament, a charity event to raise funds for area youth sporting activities, recently presented a check to Southern Tier Girls Babe Ruth Softball League. Presenting the check was Andrew S. Robinson Jr. Accepting the check on behalf of the organization was Chad Beaver, coach of the Southwestern Minors Beaver Boys Construction Team. The Sports for Kids Tournament will be played for the 22nd time on Sept. 20 at the Chautauqua Lake Golf Club’s Golf Course. Those interested can call 484-1010 for tournament details.
