Matthew Lonto of Salamanca tied for third on Sunday and Max Vaughn of Lakewood tied for fourth on Saturday during Western New York PGA Jr. Tour events this weekend.

On Sunday at Elkdale Country Club, Lonto fired an 81 to finish eight shots back of 16-18 boys category leader Benjamin Spitz of Orchard Park. Ben Lockwood of Jamestown in sixth place with an 83.

In the 13-15 boys category, Lucas Hoffman of Fredonia finished 11th with a 93. The leader was Breckin Taylor of Fairview, Pennsylvania who shot a 76.

Evan Maloney of Jamestown finished third in the boys 9-hole category with a 45. The leader was Joshua Bradley of Greece, who fired a 36.

On Saturday at Gowanda Country Club, Vaughn fired a 78 to finish five shots back of leader Anthony Delisanti of Sanborn. Lonto was tied for ninth with an 84 and Lockwood was 16th with a 100.

In the boys 9-hole group, Maloney was fourth with a 47. The leader was Bradley with a 42.
