Frewsburg junior Aaron Hair has been named Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 East Player of the Year.

The right-hander went 4-1 with a 0.99 earned run average while hitting .410 in league play this spring.

Hair is joined on the First Team by sophomore shortstop Jack Yost and senior catcher Nick Marsh from the Bears.

Randolph senior pitcher Tommy Chapman and junior outfielder Josh Brown were also named to the First Team along with Franklinville junior outfielder Jake Peters and sophomore catcher/pitcher Logan Frank. Ellicottville/West Valley senior infielder Steven Rowland and senior infielder Kalib Pierce; Pine Valley senior outfielder/pitcher Kevin Hunt and junior infielder/pitcher Corey Ellis; and North Collins senior infielder David Gullo completed the First Team.

On the Second Team from league-champion Frewsburg are senior infielder Nolan Brink, sophomore pitcher Traden Gray and junior outfielder Jason Dustin. Randolph senior infielder Jacob Bulich and sophomore infielder Isaac Hind are joined by Franklinville junior infielder Ben Mooney and junior infielder Vinny Marchese. Ellicottville/West Valley is represented on the Second Team by freshman pitcher Lucas Marsh and sophomore catcher Ryan DeKay while Pine Valley is represented by freshman infielder Sam Hunt and senior outfielder Makiah Snyder.

Frewsburg Jay Grann was named Coach of the Year while Ellicottville/West Valley won the Team Sportsmanship Award with Jordan Peplinski as the Eagles’ individual representative.
