RUSSELL, Pa. — Randy Carlson, Vern Ahlgren and Dave Stewart all shot 83s to lead the White Flight A during the Asquith Tour’s stop at Blueberry Hill Golf Course this week.

Carlson was a plus-6, Ahlgren was plus-1 and Stewart was plus-1.

In White Flight B, Joe Matte shot 94 and was plus-1. Fran Dexter was at even-0 and Fred Bretl was also at even-0.

In Gold Flight A, Jay Mengel was plus-4 and tied Ross Cali with 84s. Joe McCourt was plus-4 and Norm Beigaj was plus-1.

In Gold Flight B, Bruce Dudgeon was plus-9 and Barry Harris was plus-2 while Pete Pascatore, Ed Johnson and Rick Tyler were plus-1. Pascatore led with an 88.

In Gold Flight C, Jack Saullo was plus-9 while Jim Smith was plus-8 and Lynn Butcher was plus-2. Smith led with an 89.

In Gold Flight D, Don Bengtson was plus-3 and Ed Potter was plus-3 while Bob Kaverman was plus-2 and led with a 102.

Closest to the pin honors went to Matte on No. 4, Smith on No. 7, Stewart on No. 11 and Sam Allessi on No. 16.
