The Southern Tier Sluggers split this weekend in Niagara Falls moving their record to 4-3.

The Sluggers lost a tight game, 7-6, to the Niagara Jr. Purple Eagles on Tuesday but rebounded to beat the Anjo Bombers, 26-0, on Sunday night.

“We judge ourselves on rebound games,” Coach Scott Fenton said. “This is how you play after a loss to get back on track. Well done.”

The Sluggers play the Niagara Jr. Thunderwolves on Thursday in Niagara Falls and then play at 6:15 p.m. at Diethrick Park on July 2.
