SALAMANCA — On Senior Night at the Foy-Nugent Track, Salamanca swept the throwing events en route to a 92-49 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 girls victory over Portville.

Holly McGonigle won the shot put (28-8) and Jillian Rea captured the discus (63-7) for the Warriors.

Mushirah Sheppard was a triple winner with victories in the 100 meters (13.2), long jump (14-9.75) and pole vault (8-0) while Ryleigh John claimed the 1,500 meters (6:01.8) and 800 meters (2:50.1). Jem Yarbour also won twice for Salamanca in the 100-meter hurdles (18.8) and high jump (4-2).
