Westfield Keeps Tennis Record Perfect With Win Over Panama
PANAMA — Westfield maintained its perfect record, moving to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the CCAA West with a 3-2 win over Panama (3-1, 0-1) on Monday.
Leading the Wolverines in a key match was Isaac Caballero, a 1-6, 7-5, 6-2 winner over Elliot Jackson at second singles.
In the third singles match, Eric Sweeney of Panama was a 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 winner over Cooper Harris while Westfield picked up a win at second doubles as Olivia Kitchen and Matthew Emmons topped Graham Vollmer and Collin Petry, 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
