Anderson Heading To Medaille

Chautauqua Lake senior student-athlete Olivia Anderson, seated front row middle, signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at NCAA Division III Medaille College. Anderson was accepted into the Honors Program and will be playing both volleyball and softball for the Mavericks. During her volleyball career at Chautauqua Lake, Anderson was a Third Team All-State selection 2018, received multiple tournament MVP awards, and was co-league MVP. Anderson’s softball career is highlighted by numerous accolades including being selected Third Team All-State Class C in 2017, First Team Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 West all-star, league Pitcher of the Year, All-WNY First Team, New York State Sportswriters Association Class C Player of the Year and a First Team All-State selection in 2018. In her six-year varsity career at Chautauqua Lake she has led the Thunderbirds to multiple Section VI Class C championships, a NYS Far West Region championship and a NYSPHSAA Class C championship in 2018.
