Abbey Shines On Hill For Falconer
FALCONER — Nate Abbey pitched a gem Thursday afternoon, allowing just one hit and striking out 12 to lead Falconer to a 16-0 five-inning nonleague baseball victory over Cattaraugus-Little Valley.
Jacob Payne led the offense with three hits, including two doubles, and drove in five runs. Bobby Samuelson (home run) added two hits and three RBIs; Matt Gullotti (triple) and Ryan Stimson had two hits apiece; and Adam Dunn contributed a single.
The Golden Falcons are now 6-2 on the season.
Sam Grey had a first-inning single for the Timberwolves’ lone hit.
