Jackals Suffer Another Loss To Albany

ALBANY–The Jamestown Jackals came close once again on Saturday night, but could not find a way to pick up a win as Albany was able to hold on for a 97-94 victory in The Basketball League play at the Washington Avenue Armory.

Jamestown led 94-91 but could not hang on for the win despite a 19-point, nine-rebound, four-assist night from Austin Hamilton and another 19-point effort by James Helton.

Chris Carter added 18 points for Jamestown while DeAngelo Steward managed 17 points and nine rebounds.

Darius Paul led Albany with 26 points and seven rebounds while Alonzo Murphy added a 21-point, 16-rebound double-double.
