The Jamestown Jackals visited the Boys and Girls club of Jamestown with Mayor Sam Teresi on Wednesday evening.

Teresi presented tickets to the Jamestown Boys and Girls Club, through the use of a brand new sponsorship package offered by the Jackals. Fifty members of the Boys and Girls Club will be attending the Jamestown Jackals season opener this evening.

New for the 2019 season, the Jackals are presenting an “Alley-Oop” sponsorship. The sponsorship allows members of the community the opportunity to donate home-game tickets to youth organizations and schools in the Jamestown area. For more questions and how to become an Alley-Oop sponsor, contact Anna Towne at marketing@jamestownjackals.com.

After presenting the tickets to Jeff Kroon, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club, the players participated in both academic and athletic activities with youth from the community, engaging in arts & crafts, computers, basketball, billiards, and board games.

The Jackals will continue community and youth outreach and looks forward to fostering the development of youth. Teresi will be tossing up an honorary tip-off to begin the Jackals season tonight at 7 p.m. at Jamestown Community College.
