Maple Grove opened its wrestling season with 65-24 win over Cattaraugus-Little Valley in a league meet.

The Red Dragons recorded four pins and seven forfeits to secure the win. The quickest fall of the night — nine seconds — went to senior Alex Duncanson at 220 pounds. Also recording pins for the Red Dragons were Luke Tomlinson at 126, Taige Jones at 145 and Zach Padd at 285.

Cattaraugus-Little Valley’s Sam Grey continued his winning ways and recorded a pin in 1:11.

Maple Grove will be back in action Saturday at the Starpoint Duals.
