Maple Grove, CV, CLCS Girls Post Wins

SINCLAIRVILLE — Maple Grove (1-0) was a 63-36 winner over Sherman at the Cassadaga Valley Tournament on Friday thanks to 20 points, six steals and eight rebounds from Bre Hill.

Sam Snow led the winners on the glass with 12 Boards, while Marissa Schuppenhauer added 15 points, four assists and three steals.

Carrie Sands led the Lady Wildcats with 10 points.

LADY COUGARS PREVAIL

SINCLAIRVILLE — Host Cassadaga Valley (1-0) downed Falconer (0-1), 44-30 victory.

Kaylee Pattyson led the winners with 12 points and seven rebounds while Isabella Ruiz added 11 points and six steals. McKenzie Haskins had nine points on 3-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc with four rebounds.

For Falconer, Grace Lundmark had 10 points and Sarah Disbro contributed eight.

T’BIRDS BREEZE

ALDEN — Chautauqua Lake moved to 1-0 on the year with a 67-21 win over Akron (0-1) in the Alden Tournament.

Katelyn Fardink led the winners with 18 points while Abbie Henry added 13 points and five steals.

Emily Phelps added 11 points for the winners.
