Hemminger, Price Too Much For Clymer To Handle

Courtney Hemminger had 17 points while Madison Price added 16 points and seven rebounds as Maple Grove beat Clymer, 71-27, in non-league girls basketball Tuesday evening.

The Red Dragons led 16-3 after the first quarter and 41-14 at halftime. For the game, they shot 31 of 63 (49.2 percent) from the field, including 7 of 16 (43.8 percent) from 3-point range.

Sam Snow chipped in 10 points and five rebounds; Kelsey Tarbrake and Marisa Schuppenhauer each had five assists; and Bre Hill grabbed six rebounds for Maple Grove (3-0).

Arden Hepler led the Pirates (1-1) with 6 points.
