VARSITY DIVISION

In Jamestown Area Midget Football League action, Westside was a 20-13 winner over Northside. Cole Bloomquist led the winners with 15 rushes for 110 yards and an extra point, while Carsen Bane had 16 carries for 91 yards with a touchdown and an extra point. Tyler Zwald added nine carries for 68 yards and two scores for the winners.

Bloomquist had 10 tackles, Tommy Pratton five tackles, Terrell Reese four and Dane four, Ayden Samuelson three and Dominic Gonzalez two.

Dante James had 170 yards on the ground while Xavier Foust, James, Dylan Gullo, Josiah Cruz, Jada Foreman and Mathis Baehr led the defense.

Westside won the JAMFL jayvee title.

Southside varsity was a 21-18 winner over Northside after a late fourth-down conversion to preserve the win.

The offense was led by the hard running of Anthony Mohney and Radon Wright, who scored all three touchdowns and accounted for 180 yards rushing. Defense saw Wright, Mohney, Bishop Butts, Ison Shirley, Kain Torres, Sam Arrington, Dayton Warren and Marcus Merced lead the way for the Warriors.

MODIFIED DIVISION

The Southside Modified football team picked up its second championship in a row with a 21-18 win over Northside.

Colin Melendez completed four passes for 109 yards and two scores while also grabbing a two-point conversion. Mike Boron caught three passes for 96 yards with a touchdown and a two-point conversion while Draven DeJesus caught a 12-yard touchdown.

Southside won the modified crown.

Sean O’Brien rushed for a score and led the defense with 11 tackles, Gavin Pantojas had 102 yards on the ground and kicked an extra point.

Melendez added eight tackles and two fumble recoveries, while Ryan Chapman had eight tackles and a fumble recovery.

Bradley Bennett, Jayce Waterman and Pantojas all had fumble recoveries.

JAYVEE DIVISION

Westside claimed the jayvee championship thanks to 19 carries and 150 yards for Josh Piazza while Gavin Johnson had 12 carries for 90 yards and two scores on runs of 43 yards and 1 yard.

Eli DeLeon had seven tackles and one fumble recovery as well as a safety in the win, Trace Eggleston and Decklan Errett had five tackles apiece, Cole Anderson, Mosiah Ramos, Zion Errett and Zane Elfritz recorded four tackles each.
