Red Dragons Post Victory In The Fog

Maple Grove (11-1, 9-1) was a 6-1 winner over visiting Westfield/Brocton on Monday (5-6-1, 4-4-1) in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division play.
Chloe Kibbe picked up a pair of goals for the winners, Morgan Plymel had a goal and two assists while Marisa Schuppenhauer added a goal and an assist.
Clare Crossley and Sydney Greiner also scored in the win while Ana Pavlock and Jacquie Nickerson picked up helpers with Kasie Craig making two saves.
Juli Smith broke the shutout for Westfield/Brocton, which had Angel Busch in net for 14 saves.
The Lady Wolverines won the modified contest.
TROJANS BREEZE
Emily Kimball, Kylie Brown and Audrey Ducat tallied two goals apiece to lead Southwestern to a 12-1 victory over Dunkirk in a West Division game.
Melissa Todd, Ashley Lundmark, Allison Lundmark, Mia Delong, Gianna Hoose and Lotte Kranzo also tallied goals for the Lady Trojans, who did all their scoring in the first half.
Credited with assists were Morgan Desnerck, Allison Lundmark and Kim Truver with two apiece, and Brown, Ashley Lundmark and Sydney Segrue with one each.

Kim Nance had the lone goal for Dunkirk (0-11, 0-8).
T’WOLVES POST WIN
CATTARAUGUS–Cattaraugus-Little Valley (3-7-1, 1-5-1) was a 1-0 winner over North Collins (3-7-1, 2-5-1) thanks to a goal from Lauren Eaton in a non-league game.
Jessica Ritchie collected the assist for the Timberwolves and Izzy Deliman made 12 saves in net.
BOYS
BEARS CLAIM FIRST VICTORY
FREWSBURG — Frewsburg was a 2-1 winner over Chautauqua Lake on Monday in non-league boys soccer.
Jack Yost broke the stalemate at 16:35 on an unassisted tally while Nathan McDonald picked up the second Bears’ goal off a pass from Yost.
The Bears picked up their first win of the season and are now 1-9 overall while Chautauqua Lake is 3-6-2 overall
Caleb Carr made 10 saves in the win.
TROJANS CLINCH SHARE OF TITLE
FALCONER — Chase Stevenson scored twice as Southwestern claimed at least a share of the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association West Division boys soccer title with a 6-0 win over Falconer/Cassadaga Valley on Saturday.
Marcus Kautzman opened the scoring from McKay Young before Milko Studenko tallied from Stevenson. At the 22:34 mark of the first half, Stevenson scored his first of the game from Kautzman. Simon Pirrello made it 4-0 just before halftime from Drew Keppel.
After the break, Kade Sivak and Stevenson scored unassisted goals.
Ben Livingston was in net for the Trojans’ eighth clean sheet of the season.
The league championship is Southwestern’s sixth in the last seven years and second in a row. The Trojans can win the title outright with a win against Dunkirk on Tuesday.
RAIDERS FALL
Williamsville North (6-5-2, 3-5-2) was a 7-0 winner over Jamestown (1-10, 0-8) in ECIC Division 1 play. Matt Lindaman and Aly Basuoni each picked up a pair of goals for the winners.
