Karianne Yuchnitz led the winners, taking home the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 24.32 and the 100-yard freestyle in 54.32.

Yuchnitz hit the New York State Public High School Athletic Association mark in both of those races, setting a new pool and CCAA record in the 50-yard freestyle.

Abi Lisciandro also had a banner day for the Panthers, breaking her own Panama record with 461.35 points in 1-meter diving to become the first female diver in school history to qualify for the state meet.

Southwestern had a pair of double winners as Grace Wood took home the 200-yard freestyle in 1:59.04, while also winning the 500-yard freestyle in 5:25.11.

Teammate Katja Kranzo claimed the 200-yard individual medley in 2:23.57 and the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:15.15.

Chautauqua Lake/Westfield’s Jade Shampoe took home the 100-yard butterfly in 1:14.32

Southwestern earned a win in the 400-yard freestyle relay as the team of Natalie Fosberg, Kranzo, Teagan Shedd and Wood posted a time of 3:51.79. The Trojans also won the 200-yard medley relay using the same team, which clocked a 2:00.50.

Fosberg was a winner in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:03.76.

The Panthers claimed the 200-yard freestyle relay with the team of Izzi Bailey, Tessa Mozzi, Leah Saxton and Yuchnitz using a time of 1:46.31.

That same squad took second in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a 3:52.06, setting a new school record in the process.
