Manelick Leads Trojans To Sweep Of Clymer

CLYMER — Abby Manelick had 12 aces, 10 kills, two blocks and 12 digs as Southwestern swept Clymer, 25-15, 25-18, 25-12, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division volleyball Thursday evening.

Madeleine DuBois added seven kills and three blocks; Anna Rauh had 11 kills; and Angela Lunz had two aces, six kills, seven digs and 16 assists for the Trojans (10-8, 8-6).

Hannah King led the Pirates (6-11, 4-10) with five kills, five digs and two blocks; Ashley Covey had four aces, five digs and a kill; and Kate Honey had a kill, a block and 10 digs.

Clymer won the JV match, 25-19, 25-10, 25-19.

T’BIRDS SWEEP

FALCONER — Chautauqua Lake improved to 11-3 following a 25-12, 25-19, 25-10 Central Division win over Falconer.

Sophie Woodis had five kills and two blocks; Bryanna Davis five kills, one ace, three digs and one block; Rachel Biekarck three kills, three aces and three digs; Abbie Henry four kills, one ace, 11 digs and eight assists; and Mollie Meadows two kills, nine digs and 12 assists for the winners.

Bekah Morales had one block and one ace; Grace Camarata three kills and one block; and Jordyn Sampson six digs and three kills for Falconer (6-10, 6-8).
