PANAMA — Students from the Panama Central School Classes of 2024 and 2025 will be hosting their inaugural area-wide Color Run/Walk on Oct. 13 at 8:45 a.m. to raise money for a 2020 class trip to Washington D.C. The race will start and end at Panama Central School, with registration beginning at 8 a.m. the day of the event. Race waves will begin at 8:45 a.m. and will continue every five minutes until all registered for the event have left for the course. The event is an untimed 5K fun run and walk for all ages and fitness abilities. Along the route, participants pass through vibrant color spray zones making it a “colorful experience.” Wearing white clothing and outfits will certainly show off the colors and will make for great picture-taking. Additionally, each pre-registered participant is provided with a single powder color packet that will be thrown in the air at the final color celebration at the finish line.

Participants who register by Sept. 28 will receive a T-shirt, race bib and individual color packet. Business sponsorship opportunities are also available. Registration forms can be obtained by emailing hkeefe@pancent.org. Forms can also be picked up at Panama Central School.

Early registration is $25 per person if forms are received by Sept. 28. Late registrations will be accepted up until the day of the race at $30 per person.
