BUSTI — At four laps into the third Penn-Ohio Pro Stock heat at 7:10 p.m. Saturday, rain moved into the Stateline Speedway area. With radar showing just one blip of rain, the decision was made to attempt to wait it out. A shade under an hour later, racing resumed and history was ultimately made.

Dennis Lunger won all three features he started — RUSH Crate Late Models, the Rusted Nutz Garage Outlaw E-Mods, and the RUSH ProMods. Dave Hess Jr. prevailed in the Super Late Model season finale, Luke Rutsky won his first-ever Penn-Ohio Pro Stock feature, and William VanGuilder won his only Challenger feature of the season.

Season championships were also decided with Ryan Scott getting his first-ever Overhead Door of Jamestown Super Late Model title, Darrell Bossard collecting the RUSH Crate Late Model laurels, Lunger winning both the Rusted Nutz Garage Outlaw E-Mod and RUSH ProMod championships, John Boardman claiming the Penn-Ohio Pro Stock championship, and Dylan Greene winning the Challenger championship, his first-ever.
