Highlighting the day for the Lady Golden Falcons was Lauren Allen’s first varsity win at third singles, which turned out to be the deciding match of the afternoon.

Falconer’s second-doubles team of Chloe Jordan and Angelina Fiasco also posted its first varsity victory.

CeCe Eklum played well at first singles for Jamestown, downing Macy Youngberg, 6-4, 6-1.

The Lady Golden Falcons improve to 1-0 in the division and 2-0 overall. The Lady Red Raiders are 0-1 and 0-1.

BEMUS POINT — Maple Grove (1-0, 1-0) was a 3-2 winner over Dunkirk (0-1, 0-1) in CCAA West Division action.

Elise Swanson topped Isabella Surma, 6-0, 6-3, for the winners, while the match of the day took place between Dunkirk’s Gabi Loeb and Maple Grove’s Emma Collins at third singles.

Loeb would prevail after losing an opening set tie-breaker, earning a 6-2 win in the second set and winning a final-set breaker, 7-0.

MAYVILLE — Fredonia swept all three singles matches on the way to a 3-2 win over host Chautauqua Lake.

Alicia Cluck was a 6-4, 6-2 winner over Emily Bauer at first singles, Selin Arnarvd topped Logan Walczak, 6-2, 6-2, in the second spot and the Hillbillies had Nicole Corsico defeat Abby Paulus 6-1, 6-1 in the final match.
