RANDOLPH — Brynn Pagett had 12 kills, five aces and eight digs as Randolph defeated Ellicottville, 19-25, 25-17, 25-15, 21-25, 25-17, in a five-set CCAA East Division thriller Friday evening.

Jill Stahley added 20 digs and three aces; Alyssa Adams had 15 kills and two aces; and Madison Callahan had 39 assists for the Cardinals (2-1, 2-0).

Cyrene Moore led the Eagles (0-2) with nine kills and five blocks; Linnea Jimerson had nine kills and two aces; and Sierra Maybee had six kills, two aces and three blocks.

Randolph won the jayvee match in two games.
