Snyder’s Goal Lifts Raiders
Cole Snyder put in a heroic effort for the Jamestown on Monday evening, firing home a shot with 29 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Raiders a 5-4 win over Orchard Park in a Western New York Club Hockey League game.
Assists on the goal came from Jadon Barron and Brian Burns, the latter of which added to his three-goal night.
After tallying once in the first period from Josh Spontaneo and once in the second unassisted, Burns fired home a tying goal with 32 seconds remaining in regulation thanks to passes by Jacob Gerace and Snyder to push things into extra time and earn a hat trick.
Jamestown’s second goal of the night came from Tristan Spillane from Will Steen midway through the second period.
