Panama Girls Stay Undefeated

FREWSBURG — Panama moved to 2-0 in Division 2 West action and 9-0 overall after a 56-29 defeat of Frewsburg (1-1, 3-5) on the road Tuesday.

Natalie Angeletti grabbed 12 boards to go with 14 points while Alexys Marsh had seven rebounds and 8 points in the win. Kylie Schnars chipped in 13 points for the Panthers.

Gabby Iuculano led Frewsburg with 12 points and four steals.

CLYMER — Sherman used a second-quarter run to defeat Clymer, 42-34, to move to 7-3 overall and 2-0 in Division 2 West.

The Wildcats went on a 17-6 spurt in the second stanza to lead 24-12 at halftime.

MacKenzie Gratto had eight of her 10 points during the second period to lead the way. She also had 11 rebounds and Hannah Murdock added eight. Maggie Myers scored 13 points to lead Sherman.

DUNKIRK — Riley Caskey and Marissa Schuppenhauer combined to lead Maple Grove to a 70-49 CCAA Division 1 West win over Dunkirk.

Caskey scored 9 points and Schuppenhauer added 6 points during a 23-8 third quarter as the Red Dragons improved to 8-4 overall, including 2-2 in the league.

Maple Grove led 25-20 at halftime.

Caskey finished with 21 points, Bre Hill had 16 points, Schuppenhauer had 15 points and Courtney Hemminger added 13 points for the Red Dragons. Hill grabbed 16 rebounds and Heminger had 11 rebounds while Schuppenhauer added seven assists.

Olivia Smith had five 3-pointers for 15 points and Jessica Beehler added 10 points for Dunkirk.
