Jeremy Becker came within one pin of a 300 game in the Dave Warren Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Hall of Fame Scratch Doubles at Jamestown Bowling Company on Thursday night.

Becker left a pin standing on his final ball for a 299 game at JBC while competing for Townline Auto & Repair.

There was plenty of other top games and series in the same league with Alan Felmlee leading the way with a 258-257-257-771 for Southern Tier T-Shirts.

Jim Mee smashed a 268-243-259-770 for Gametime followed by Dan Gould with a 279-279-760 for Harmony Sheet Metal and Andy Blasdell with a 280-247-739 for Dave Warren Auto. Two women broke the 600 barrier with Kate Foti having a 257-224-672 and Steph Tompkins a 639 in the same league.
