Wrestling at 126/132 pounds, the Maple Grove senior showed why he is the top-ranked 120-pound wrestler in Section VI as he recorded seven pins, one technical fall and a forfeit victory.

In other results, Zak Trim, wrestling at 195/182 pounds, had seven pins, one win via forfeit and an injury disqualification that improved his record to 19-1. His lone loss occurred as he was attempting to pin his opponent and an illegal point was awarded to the latter, who could not continue.

Eighth-grader Luke Tomlinson (106/113) increased his overall record to 18-2 by going 8-1 over the two days, highlighted by six pins. Sophomore Jake Tomlinson (170) posted a 6-3 mark and recorded six pins; and junior Taige Jones and senior Carter Russo each had five wins.

As a team, the Red Dragons posted a 5-4 record.
