Pete Weishan was the net winner with a 66.

Greg Fitzpatrick won the First Flight with a 76, Stan Milanowski won the Second Flight with an 84 and Bob Wylie won the Third Flight with a 97.

WARREN, Pa. — Ruth Derby shot a 29 net for medalist honors on Ladies Day at Conewango Valley Country Club.

Derby was also closest to the pin on her second shot on No. 7, coming within 3 feet, 8 inches.

WARREN, Pa. — Gary Evans and John Bevevino had a 59 to win the 18-hole, best-ball event on Men’s Day at Conewango Valley Country Club.

Doug Swanson and Rick Sotir were second with a 63 while John Hanna and Robert Walker were third with a 64.

Evans and Bevevino won the nine-hole event with a 28. Bill Mahan and Greg Noon tied Craig Johnson and Ray Johnson as well as Hanna and Walker for second with 30s.

Swanson won the Woods Flight low gross with a 35 and Sotir was the net leader with a 34.

Johnson took the Spieth Flight low gross with a 37 and Bevevino was the net leader with a 33.

Jim Vecellio and Jim Senger were the Nicklaus Flight gross leaders with 43s while Vicino was the net leader with a 35.

Ken Hoffman and Bob Follett were the Palmer Flight gross leaders with 45s while Mahan and Walker were the net leaders with 35s.

Bill Turner was the closest to the pin on No. 11 and Ray Johnson had the longest putt on No. 8, sinking it from 21 feet.

RUSSELL, Pa. — Laura Martin and Peggy Nason had a 163¢ points to lead the Early League at Cable Hollow Golf Course.

Lana Creal and Astrid Bacchetti were second with 161¢ points followed by Shirley Pearson and Blanch Swaney with 155 points.

Sonia Probst was the gross leader with a 43 and Josie Palermo had a 33 net.

WARREN — Duane Vicini and Chad Vicini captured the 18-hole best-ball in the Men’s Day results at Conewango Valley Country Club.

The Vicinis shot a 65 to win the 18-hole best-ball by a stroke over Don Dubia and Paul Ignatius ,and Gary Evans and John Bevevino, who had 66s.

In the 9-hole best-ball, Alec Conarro and Kris Anthony were first with a 29 followed by Bill Turner and Tim Huber and Patrick Farrell and Rick Allen with 32s.

Tony Pellegrino Sr. took the Woods Flight low gross honors with a 37 while Doug Swanson was the net leader with a 36.

Anthony was the Spieth Flight gross winner with a 40 and Vance Lauffenburger had a 38 net.

In the Nicklaus Flight, John Vilella was gross leader with a 40 while Duane Vicini, Bob McGinn and Conarro tied for net honors with a 34.

Tim Huber’s 42 gross and Ashton Ditka’s 35 net led the Palmer Flight.

Evans was closest to the pin on No. 11 (5 feet, 10inches) and Duane Vicini had the longest putt on No. 13 (6-10).
