Six players scored in double figures as the Jamestown Jackals held off the Chautauqua Hurricane in a 106-103 Premier Basketball League victory Sunday afternoon at Jamestown Community College’s Physical Education Complex.

Mike Lyons led the Jackals with 26 points to go along with five steals, four rebounds and four assists while Nathaniel Hill added 20 points, 11 rebounds and a steal.

Jamestown was buoyed by 50 points off its bench and held a 57-40 rebounding edge, led by Kasheef Baker’s 12 boards.

Michael Davenport chipped in 13 points, Bradley Christian had 12, Christopher Calvin had 11 and Chiza Ntirata added 10. Christian Davis led the hosts with seven assists while Baker blocked five shots.

The Hurricane led 53-49 at halftime in a game that featured seven ties and 10 lead changes.

Edwin Ubiles led Chautauqua with 21 points to go along with four rebounds and four assists while Tyquan Stroman added 18 points and eight rebounds. Devon Dawson chipped in 16 points, Reuben Berry had 12 and Larry Rivers had 11. Maurice Greene grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds for the Hurricane, who went 0 for 11 from 3-point range while making just 12-of-21 free throws in the second half.
