FALCONER — Senior Dylan Ingrao ran his record to 32-3 on the season with a pair of wins as Falconer defeated Dunkirk/Silver Creek, 68-13, and Gowanda, 58-18, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 wrestling Wednesday evening.
Ingrao earned a 16-0 technical fall over Dunkirk/Silver Creek’s Cole Golembieski before pinning Gowanda’s Mike Liszkiewicz in 1:11.
At 170 pounds, Dunkirk/Silver Creek’s Alton Ingram and Falconer’s Robbie Penhollow were both featured as honorable-mention selections in this week’s Wrestling Review of Western New York. Penhollow got the upper hand Wednesday, pinning Ingram in 2:53.
In the victory over Dunkirk/Silver Creek, the Golden Falcons’ Jordan Dustin earned a 5-1 overtime victory against Bradley Yochum. The two entered the extra session tied 1-all before Dustin took Yochum to the mat for a near-fall.
In the win over Gowanda, Falconer’s Tony Fiasco earned a 10-8 overtime decision against the Panthers’ Ethan Fort. Fiasco fell behind 8-0 before battling back to tie the match at 8 and earn a takedown in the extra session.

Falconer improved to 23-1 overall, including 3-0 in its league with the victories.

Trevor Micek dominated to lead Maple Grove to a 44-21 defeat of Cattaraugus-Little Valley in Division 2 action.
Micek, the top-ranked 170-pounder in the area according to the Wrestling Review of Western New York, earned an 18-3 technical fall over Zach Fedeson at 182 pounds to improve to 27-1 on the season.
The Red Dragons’ Zak Trim earned a pin in 3:30 over Dakota Crawford at 170 pounds while the Timberwolves’ Sam Grey pinned Maple Grove’s Jake Schick in 3:01 at 132 pounds.

HAMBURG — Jamestown lost a 45-31 Erie County Interscholastic Conference Division 1 wrestling decision to Hamburg on Wednesday night.
Cody Pool and Noah Turzillo improved on their records for Jamestown. Pool (113) won a major decision over Will Smeader, 9-1, and Turzillo (220) earned a 5-1 decision over Eric Masssenburg.
Ben Winkler (126 pounds) pinned Anthony Monzella in 1:00 and Evan Lewis (138 pounds) took down Dominic Manilla in 1:43 in the loss.
The fastest pin went to Dillon Knoll of Hamburg with a fall over Joshua Snyder in 1:36 at 182 pounds.
