Trap League
Mike Cluchey fired a 49 for the top senior veteran score as Westfield downed Ellery, 314-221, in the Western Chautauqua County Trap League recently.
Rose Corbran was the high lady with a 47, Travis Hollman had the sub junior top score with a 40, Caleb Sunday recorded a 29 for the leading junior score and Jim VanDyke had the leading super senior veteran total with a 22 for Westfield.
For Ellery, Ron Harmon shot a 45 for the leading sub veteran score, Cole Morrison a 39 for the top sub junior score and Lisa Boardman a 17 for the high lady score.
Jerry Burnett’s 48 was the top super senior veteran score as Big Tree took down Ripley, 330-317.
Ron Johnson tied Burnett for the top honors for Big Tree with a 48 and was the leading junior.
Steve Milliman drilled a 47 for the leading sub veteran score, Linda Gilbert also a 47 for high lady, Cliff Hammer a 46 for the top senior veteran, Rodger Rhinehart a 43 for the top veteran, Cody Hammond a 37 for the top sub junior, Kaci Sikova a 37 for the leading junior lady score and Cleo Kindrick a 28 for the leading sub junior score for Big Tree.
Mark Henry had a 47 to lead Ripley, which had Bob Murray shooting a 45 for the leading veteran, Sheila Yokom a 44 for high lady, Jim Carris a 42 for the leading veteran, Cheyenne Meeder a 39 for the leading sub junior, Mike Campaign a 34 for the top sub veteran and Mike Boll a 30 for leading junior.

Rob Graham led Ellery with a 47 and Ron Harmon had a 46 for the best sub veteran total, Cole Morrison shot a 41 for the leading sub junior total and Linda Boardman had a 32 for the best score among the ladies for Ellery.
Big Tree prevailed over Ripley, 307-294, as Jerry Burnett and Scott Hammer led the way with 46s.
Burnett was the leading super senior veteran with his 46, Steve Milliman was the leading sub veteran score with a 43, Joe Rapela was the leading junior score with a 41, Rodger Rhinehart was the top veteran with a 39, Linda Gilbert was the high lady with a 37, Den Ball was the top senior veteran with a 36, Cody Hammond was the top sub junior with a 36, Kari Sikora was the to junior lady with a 22 and Cleo Kendrick was the top lady junior sub with a 17 in the win.
Mark Henry led Ripley with a 44.
Also for Ripley, Ernie Newhouse had a 41 for the best sub veteran score, Sandy Newhouse had a 41 for the highest lady, Jim Carris had a 38 for the top senior veteran, Bob Murray had a 37 for the highest veteran, Mike Boll had a 36 for highest junior total, Chynenne Meeder had a 29 for the highest sub junior lady score and Wyatt Meeder had a 23 for the top sub junior total with a 23.

Jim Kestler of Busti, Randy Lineman of Celoron and Rick Manning of Randolph all emerged with perfect 50s in the Chautauqua Country Trap League. For Kestler it was his first 50 straight.
Matt Tutmaher of Celoron and Morgan Kish of Randolph also drilled their first 25s.
Steph Tutmaher of Celoron and Tiffany Decker of Busti recorded the highest ladies scores with a 25, Matt Tutmaher of Celoron had the highest sub junior score with a 48, Blake Ristau of Carroll had the highest junior score with a 47, Ray Lee of Carroll had the highest veteran score with a 49, Jerry Willett of Celoron and D.J. Bifaro of Randolph tied for the highest senior veteran scores with a 49, and Dick Starks of Busti had the highest super senior veteran score with a 49.
Celoron edged Randolph, 437-436, as the result of the tie-breaker, and Busti stopped Carroll, 337-335.
