Jayhawks Finish Third At Genesee Cougars Invite

BATAVIA – Dylan Glatz led Jamestown Community College with an 81 as the Jayhawks finished third overall at the Genesee Cougars Invite on Saturday at Batavia Country Club.

Glatz finished in a tie for 10th while Cody Latimer was a shot back at 82. Patrick Hinkson fired an 83, Joe Conti had an 84, Alec Ambrose shot an 85, Jared Yartz shot an 86 and Greg Cross had a 94 for the Jayhawks.

Mohawk Valley CC’s Dante Migliore was the medalist with a 74 while teammate Bobby Davenport fired a 75 as the Hawks took first place overall.

Monroe CC was second overall, led by Mike Long in second with a 78, while Niagara CC and Tompkins Cortland CC rounded out the top five.

Helen Busch of Genesee CC was the top women’s finisher with a 93 while Onondaga CC’s Annie Basile had a 98.
