MAJOR DIVISION

Aaron Hair and Brayden Coleson combined on a one-hitter while Nick Emley hit an inside-the-park home run to lead Frewsburger to an 11-0 win over Carroll Rod & Gun Club on Saturday morning.

Aidan Coleson hit an infield single to second base with two outs in the sixth inning to break up the no-hitter.

Hair threw the first three innings, striking out six and walking one while Coleson finished the game for Frewsburger, striking out nine and walking one.

Emley walked three times and scored three runs while Coleson had two hits including an RBI triple. Cooper Spielman had two hits with an RBI double while Hair and Ryan Schrecengost each chipped in a pair of hits.

Jack Yost struck out five in the final 3 innings for Carroll Rod & Gun Club.

CITY REC BASEBALL

Riley McKay pounded out three hits, Jovante Turner hit a home run and Vance Darling doubled as Jammers Haven Tigers turned aside the Affinity 1 Federal Credit Union Blue Jays, 16-4.

Conner Murray belted out three hits while Jim Fiorella and Connor Higgs had two hits apiece for the Blue Jays.

Devon Hillman had an enjoyable day with four home runs and a double as the B&L Wholesale Yankees blanked the Angels, 23-0.

Hector Rosario also had five hits with two homers and a double, and Mackenzie Ellsworth contributed five hits with a double for the Yankees.

Gerria Traver slammed four hits with two doubles and a triple, and Ivie Foster had four hits with a triple in the win.

Preston Haight and Dovonte Robinson had singles for the Angels.

FALCONER COACH PITCH

The Greater Chautauqua Federal Credit Union Yankees and the 3 C’s Catering Cubs played to a 6-6 tie.

Alexander Nutt and Austin Ribaudo were outstanding for the Yankees and Myla Brainard and Alexis Cross excelled for the Cubs.

MAJOR DIVISION

A bunt single by Cameron Curtis in the bottom of the sixth inning gave Lena’s Pizza a thrilling 6-5 decision over the Dave Warren Auto Group.

Ivan DeJesus, Taylor Kiendl and Peter Barruy were Lena’s offensive leaders.

Sam Coletti, Mason Tomczak and Isaac Clintron were the standouts for Dave Warren, which had Nolan Scoma strike out nine in defeat.

SOUTHERN TIER BABE RUTH SOFTBALL

ROOKIE DIVISION

Emma Derby had four hits and Ashlynn Weaver was the defensive standout as Beaver Boys Construction of Southwestern defeated Andrew Robinson Insurance of Southwestern, 12-3.

Lily Robinson and Elise Kartesz were the leading players in the loss.

Madison Dybka delivered five and Kaden O’Neill had three hits when Peaches and Cream of Randolph prevailed over Randolph Auto, 13-3.

Chloe Chadwick added two hits with a double and Ryanne Bushey contributed two hits toward the winning attack. Jaclyn Flood was a defensive standout for the winners at third base.

Aliza Hind was Randolph Auto’s defensive standout.

Donnilynn Sheldon recorded five hits and catcher Nickola Whitford stood out defensively as Peaches and Cream No. 1 beat Jamestown No. 3, 15-5.

Maddison Porter was strong defensively and Kortni Covell singled in the setback.

Mallory Dahlgren led the offense and Zoey Shimmel shined on defense as Jamestown No. 3 downed Jamestown Pediatrics of Falconer No. 1, 19-11.

Chelsea Trapani was the offensive standout and Michaela Brunco was the defensive standout for Jamestown Pediatrics.

MINOR DIVISION

Randolph Radiantly You tied Jock Shop No. 3 of Jamestown, 15-15, with the offensive standouts being Torrey Smith with two hits and Alaina Bunker with a double.

Defensive standouts for Randolph were catchers Harper Smith and Alana Chadwick.

Kira Ricker was Jamestown’s offensive standout with two hits and the defensive performer was pitcher Marley Drake.

JAMESTOWN TEE-BALL

Sammy Lisciandro was the offensive player of the game and Cole Strickland was the defensive player of the game in Aire Serv’s game with Cycle Shop.

Kalun Hodgkin was the offensive player of the game and Trace Eggleston was the defensive player of the game for the Cycle Shop.

M&T Complete Construction battled with True Value and Kameryn Monroe was named the offensive player of the game for M&T.

Zane Elifrietz shined on defense for M&T.

Gracelynn Reedy led True Value’s offense and Ty McVey was the defensive player of the game.

Aiden Froah had three hits while Spencer Kane and Aidan Kennedy added two hits as the Cubs outscored the Nationals, 11-8.

Drew Wigren hit the first home run of his career and Curtis Olson also homered while Ryan Corey was an offensive standout in the loss.

MINOR DIVISION

Nate Lewis drove in two runs with a single while Conner Young and Lucas Lisciandro were the offensive standouts when the Reds beat the Pirates, 19-4.

Chris Miller had seven strikeouts while Braedan Orlando delivered a two-run double and Carter Brink had two hits in the loss.

Dom Delaney, Declan Kennedy and Dustin Hendrix hit doubles as the Blue Jays dropped the Orioles, 13-1.

Gabe Tyger and Nick Hurley had hits for the Orioles while Jackson Barreto did the pitching.

Talon Thayer scored the winning run as the Orioles edged the Yankees, 12-11.

Barreto had three hits with a triple and Cameron Lewis added three hits for the Orioles.

Jackson Faulk singled and Nick Swan also singled while making a great catch in defeat.

The Reds and the Blue Jays engaged in a 3-3 deadlock.

Griffin Bogdanowicz fanned eight while Carter Brink and Braedan Orlando had singles for the Reds.

Devyn Lamb and James Pirello stroked hits for the Blue Jays.

SOUTHWESTERN LITTLE LEAGUE

ROOKIE DIVISION

Jayden Work collected two hits and Jerry Leighton made several defensive plays when the Diamondbacks beat the Braves, 8-1.

For the Braves, Brayden Wagner belted out two hits and had an RBI, and Luke Thayer also delivered a run with an RBI.

Alex Barmore stroked three hits and Oscar Harris had two hits while Nolan Lefler played well defensively at first base as the Diamondbacks prevailed over the Braves, 6-3.

Brayden Gibbs and Berke Lindstrom split six hits in the loss.

Alyson Dalton and Brody Larson (double) drilled three hits and Cooper Charles added a hit as the Cardinals beat the Astros, 13-4.

Clayton Evans delivered three hits while Simeon Lewis and Caleb Blake each had two hits for the Astros.

It was Royals nudging the Cardinals, 8-7, with Chase Hartnett having three hits, including the game-winning double.

George Marshall contributed three hits for the winners, who got fine defense from Nate Alexander.

Mike Moore had two hits and Grady Moore had a hit while Aiden Dearman was the defensive standout in the loss.

MINOR DIVISION

Jamestown Teachers Association recorded three wins by first beating JT/Lobb, 5-3, followed by a 3-2 win over Piazza Carpet and a 12-9 victory over the Lions.

Coleson Barber stroked two hits and Nate Torres had a double against JT/Lobb, which had Sean O’Brien and Mike Boron with hits.

Barber added two more hits while Torres and Bradley Bennett each had one in the win over Piazza Carpet. Owen Kearney and Darius Freeney had hits for Piazza Carpet.

Cameron Sanchez cracked a bases-clearing double in the victory over the Lions.

Torres slammed a triple and a double, and Kristian Duffee had a single in the win.

Nick Miraglia picked up three hits with a double while Charles Root, Cayden Frazier and Julio Ramos each added two hits in the loss. Caleb Bane tripled for the Lions.

MAJOR DIVISION

Veterans of Modern Warfare got past VVA, 8-7, with Owen Maggio tripling and Nevan Kearney excelling defensively at shortstop.

Adam Dunn tripled while Elijah Rojas and Mike Scalise had big hits.

Maddox Lombardo was the offensive player of the game and Nick Cornell was the defensive player of the game for Combined Life Insurance against Kallie’s Krusade.

Chris Melquist was the offensive standout and Dominic Newman was the defensive standout for Kallie’s Krusade.

Owen Everetts was the offensive standout and Logan Briggs the defensive standout for AirServe against Ecklof Bakery at Allen Park.

Jamestown 2 topped Frewsburger Pizza, 14-6, behind a great offensive performance from Milana D’Angelo and a solid game on defense by Aliya Graham.

Kaitelyn Bean was the offensive Player of the game for Frewsburger and Kadence Rodgers led the defense.

MAJOR DIVISION

Chautauqua Lawn Care topped Falconer Lions, 11-0, as Kal Pierce and Kaiden Myers combined for a no-hitter and 10 strikeouts.

Jake Swanson had three hits while Myers and Reed Cheney each had two hits in the win.

CITY REC LEAGUE

The Affinity One Federal Credit Union Blue Jays topped the Angels, 22-0, thanks to two doubles and two singles by Justin Martin, and a home run and a single by J-Man Jimerson.

Alex Morton and Kyra Jones had doubles in defeat.

CITY SLO-PITCH LEAGUE

A-Bat/Buzzettos Pizza recorded wins over the Latino’s and the Hit Club on Sunday.

Bill Lawson belted four hits with two home runs, Doug Trapani added three home runs, Jared Aiken three hits with two homers and Dave Saxton three hits with a triple against the Latino’s.

Ryan Anderson, Steve Trapani and Tim Whitmore chipped in two hits with a double while Ryan Cunningham and Wil Sanchez also had two hits with a homer for the winners.

Joto Perez homered for Latino’s.

Guarny Ramirez, Anderson and Aiken drilled three hits with a homer and Saxton also had three hits versus the Hit Club.

Doug Trapani, Steve Trapani and Lawson added two hits with a double for the victors.

John Torres led the Hit Club with three hits.

SOUTHWESTERN GLADIATORS

U-10 BOYS

Xander Hind had four hits, including a two-run single and a triple as the Gladiators defeated Fredonia, 12-11.

Josh Truver and Walker Perry lashed two hits while Griffin Bogdanowicz, Chris Miller and Hind combined for 14 strikeouts in pitching two innings each for the winners.

Matt Pannes was the defensive player of the game for the Gladiators.

U-9 BOYS

Garrett Brink had two hits and three runs scored and Gavin Smith also recorded two hits and scored twice as the Gladiators beat Holland, 12-6.

Matthew Burlingame was a standout in pitching and with his glove in the win.

U-8 BOYS

Logan Dugan’s game-winning single capped a four-run rally in the bottom of the sixth inning to give the Gladiators a 9-8 victory over Eden.

Defensively, Michael Patric and Chase Harnett excelled defensively.

INTER-LEAGUE

Jedd Jaroszynski had four hits with a bases loaded triple to win the game in the sixth inning as the Falconer Moose prevailed over Fenton Mobility, 16-14.

Justin Dustin also chipped in with four hits with two doubles and Payton Dustin, Devon Anderson and Joey Youngberg all had two hits in the victory.

Jake Vaillancourt had two hits, Matt Welsh tripled, Carter Martin doubled, and Cade Egan and Tyler Hudson singled in the loss.

Brayden McCarthy and Nathan Gilbert were the Players of the Game as the 3 C’s Catering Cubs tied the Allied Fire Protection Braves, 5-5.

Waters pounded out a triple, Hannah Group a double and Mallory Morrison scored twice for the winners.

Eliza Dawes fanned four batters for Bemus Point.

For Jamestown, MacKenzie Westley and Samantha Bresson were the standouts.

FALCONER LITTLE LEAGUE

Bloomquist Landscaping had a come-from-behind 9-8 win over the Lions with Ray Babyak’s walk off hit scoring Jacob Payne as the decisive run.

In the bottom of the sixth, Bloomquist scored all nine of its runs. In that inning Payne had two triples, Alex Lillie had a triple and Drake DiDomenico had a double to carry the offense.

For the Lions Matt Dallas carried his team on the mound and at the plate. Before he ran out of pitches in the sixth inning, he had 12 strikeouts and gave up only three runs. At the plate he was the offensive leader with a home run and two triples

Ecklof Bakery dueled with the Elks Club, and Jacob Ecklof was the defensive player of the day and Landyn Witherspoon was the offensive player of the day for Eklofs. Trenton Fegley was the offensive player of the day and Mosiah Ramos the defensive player of the day for Elks.

Aaron Hair had five hits, including a three-run home run, two doubles and eight RBIs, as Frewsburger beat Randolph’s Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home.

Brayden Coleson added three doubles and two RBIs, Ryan Schrecengost had three hits with a double and four RBIs, and Marcus Walrod had three hits with an RBI in the win. Also for Frewsburger, Cooper Spielman had two hits, including a triple, and Caleb Carr had two hits with a double while Kole Bender and Zack Carr split four hits.

Wyatt Adams had two hits including a double for Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home.

In a recent doubleheader, Slone Melhuish picked up two victories.

The first game saw Slone Melhuish defeat Kendall Club, 8-3. Leading the way with two hits each were Conner Dean, Mikey Patric, Adam Kubera, Mathis Baehr and Hayden Walker. For Kendall Club, Tommy Pratton and Owen Slojkowski collected two hits each.

In the second game, Slone Melhuish defeated D&S Glass, 9-0. Carson Panebianco, Adam Kubera, Mathis Baehr, and Mikey Patric led Slone Melhuish with three hits. Collecting two hits for the winners were Conner Dean, Dominic Gonzalez and Jack Christensen.

Aaron Hair and Brayden Coleson combined for a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts as Frewsburger used two big innings to top Carroll Rod & Gun Club, 7-1.

Hair threw 5 innings, striking out 12 and walking three while Coleson retired the final two batters, striking out one.

Carroll Rod & Gun Club opened the scoring with a run in the second inning before Frewsburger answered back with four runs in the bottom of the third inning and three more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Coleson led the winning offense with an inside-the-park home run and an RBI single while Hair had an RBI triple and a single. Cooper Spielman added two hits with a double and an RBI while Caleb Carr had two singles, and Ryan Schrecengost had an RBI double.

Aidan Cardone struck out six in three innings for Carroll Rod & Gun Club.

GIRLS SOFTBALL LEAGUE

MAJORS DIVISION

The Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union of Falconer 2 nipped the Jamestown Dental Lab, 11-10, with Ava Fenton being named the defensive player of the game with five strikeouts and four runs allowed.

Courtnee Peterson was the offensive player of the game with two hits and a pair of stolen bases while allowing only a run in two innings.

Samantha Snow struck out five and two hits for the victors.

Sydney Moss was the offensive standout with two hits and scored twice, and Alyssa Shimmel was the defensive standout for the Dental Lab.

Olivia Morton and Marra Hovey split four hits and were co-players of the game as Neil’s Propane of Panama beat Chris Keefe Builders Inc. from Chautauqua Lake.

MAJORS DIVISION

The season opened for the Gerry Jammers on a successful note by virtue of a 13-4 victory over Sinclairville.

Liam Davis piled up eight strikeouts in five innings and Hunter Lewis added a triple and a single for the winners.

Carson Whitacre, Dalton McIntyre and Braden LeBaron all delivered two hits for Gerry. Fishgold doubled and singled for Sinclairville.

JAMESTOWN CAL RIPKEN

TEE-BALL LEAGUE

Jayden Leid was the offensive player of the game and Anna Engquist was the defensive player of the game when Combined Life Insurance played Ed Shults.

For Ed Shults, Josh Piazza was the offensive standout and Carson Millen was the defensive standout.

CITY REC LEAGUE (7-12)

Jayme Jimerson was the hitting star as the Affinity 1 Federal Credit Union Blue Jays took care of the Rookies, 19-8.

One of the three hits by Jimerson was a triple while Kira Higgs added a double in the win.

Jasmine Meekins had three hits, one a double, and Rockies teammate Jahrek Maisonet tripled and singled.

FALCONER MINOR LEAGUE

Truck-Lite defeated Southern Tier Family Dentistry, 20-14.

Truck-Lite was led by Jonathan Neid, Jake Sears, and Branston Lindquist who each collected four hits while Lindquist added a double.

Leading the offense for Southern Tier Family Dentistry was Gage Swanson with two doubles.

FALCONER LITTLE LEAGUE

Bloomquist Landscaping beat Ideal Coatings, 12-4, behind the pitching of Jacob Payne who had 10 strikeouts as well as a triple.

Alex Lillie went 2 for 4 and Chad Tanner went 2-for-2 with a double.

For Ideal Coatings Bill Leese and Hudson Johnson each went 2-for-3 with a double.

Everyday’s True Value was led offensively by Kamryn Harper with two runs, and Joselyn Becker with a hit and two runs.

Southwestern’s Beaver Boys Construction won a 10-9 decision against The Wing City Grillers of Chautauqua Lake.

Ashlynn Saracki and Victoria Smith had two hits each. Reece Beaver was a defensive standout, pitching two shutout innings to clinch the game.

Alexis Delcamp of Chautauqua Lake had two hits and Alex McKee was great defensively.

The Southwestern Troopers defeated Everyday’s True Value of Falconer.

The Troopers had hits from Elyse Coffin and Erin Keppel.

Falconer was led by Angelina Fiasco and Katelyn Bemis.

Neil’s Propane of Panama defeated Jamestown, 11-1.

For Neil’s Propane Lilly Odell had three hits, including a triple and a double, while Kylie Range added three hits.

Southwestern’s offensive player of the game was Ava Fitzpatrick and the defensive player of the game was Juliette Genareo.

In recent action, Slone Melhuish defeated Kendall Club by a score of 8-3.

The win came thanks to two hits each from Conner Dean, Mikey Patric, Adam Kubera, Mathis Baehr and Hayden Walker. Defensive leaders were Tyler Zwald, Carson Panebianco and Anthony Cosme.

For Kendall Club, Owen Slojkowski and Tommy Pratton were the offensive leaders with two hits each. Defensive stars were Maxwell Knight, Brighton Lumia, Carter Rizzuto, Gavin Maggio, Chase Maggio and Tyler Salvaggio.

Clayton Evans, Von Chadwick and Matthew Belata singled and Evans drove in the Astros’ run.

The Braves and A’s battled to a 6-6 tie.

Tate Catanese drilled four hits, Riley Monda had three hits and Avery Peterson collected two hits for the A’s.

Brayden Gibbs drove in three runs with two doubles and a single for the Braves. Berke Lindstrom doubled and singled and Johnny Abers played well defensively for the Braves.

Robbie Bellardo smacked two homers among his three hits, and Andrew Spiesman contributed a double and a single as the Cardinals blanked the Braves, 15-0.

Lindstrom had two hits and Bryce Simon had a hit while Kadyn Abers did a fine job at shortstop for the Braves.

Brody Larson had three hits and Grady Moore contributed two hits to lead the Cardinals past the Diamondbacks, 8-4.

Anthony Pratt delivered three hits and Gabriel Tilaro had a hit while Judd Harris was the defensive standout in the loss.

The Royals took care of the A’s, 10-0, with George Marshall and Carmine Calimeri having two hits and each drove in a run plus Calimeri scored twice and Marshall once.

The Southwestern Gladiators lost a close one to Springville with Aaron Hair fanning four and delivering a single while Justin Dustin doubled and singled.

Evans downed the Southwestern Gladiators, 16-4, with Mike Marshall the offensive player of the game with a single and John Susz the defensive player of the game with a fine catch.

U-10 TRAVEL BASEBALL

The Southwestern Gladiators suffered a 12-6 loss to the WNY Heat of Orchard Park after the Heat scored seven runs in the fifth inning.

Josh Truver and Nolan Froah had four hits with Truver hitting a double for Southwestern. Spencer Bell reached base all three times and scored twice.

The pitching was handled by Xander Hind, Dominic Delaney, Froah and Griffin Bogdanowicz.

U-9 TRAVEL BASEBALL

Brandon Lobb stroked two hits and scored twice as the Southwestern Gladiators sustained a 12-4 loss to Olean.

Vince Sanfilippo drove in two runs and Gavin Smith was the defensive standout for the Gladiators. Dustin Hendrix threw a perfect inning.

Nick Alexander and Chase Hartnett had three hits with a double in a defeat to the Orchard Park Force.

Colin Melendez and Mason Chapman combined for 12 strikeouts as the Jock Shop held on to defeat Cusimano’s, 6-5, in a defensive battle.

Raylynn Digirolamo stood out with two doubles and a single as the Affinity l Federal Credit Union Blue Jays beat the Astros, 12-10.

Davon Hillman, Markel Carter and Ivie Foster all delivered four hits as the Yankees handled the Angels, 18-2.

Randolph Auto 2 defeated Jamestown Pediatrics Falconer 1, 24-16.

Randolph’s offensive players of the game were Kameron Luce with six hits and two doubles, and Ryanne Bushey with six hits. The defensive player of the game was catcher Addison Beaver.

The Falconer offensive players of the game were Nellie Marsh and Myla Sharp. Chelsea Trirani had a standout game on defense.

Peaches and Cream of Randolph defeated Jamestown, 10-0.

Donnilynn Sheldon led Randolph with four hits, including three doubles, and Andi Frame grabbed four hits. On the defensive side, Quinn Pence made several plays from the circle.

Peaches and Cream of Randolph defeated WNY Urology Care of Falconer, 11-1.

Nickola Whitford led Randolph with five hits and Kaden O’Neill cracked four. On the defensive side Madison Dybka made several great plays from the circle.

Jacklynn Flood led Randolph with five hits, including two doubles, and Olivia Shawley added five hits. Donnilynn Sheldon was the defensive player of the day at first base.

Neil’s Propane of Panama defeated Jamestown by a score of 11-1.

For Neil’s Propane, Lilly Odell had a triple, double and a single. Kylie Range contributed three more hits in the win.

Jamestown’s Morgan Torrey had a stolen base, and Katy David had a solid hit to be named players of the game.

Ashton Matthews and Michael Gerace were the standouts for the Nationals and Jed Hirliman was the pitcher.

The Cubs and Mets battled to a 6-6 tie with Aden Froah pitching for the Cubs. Jayce Neal and Garrett Nelson were the standout players.

For the Mets, standing out were Jared Pearson, Max Maxwell and Dan White.

Frankie Farrell, Tristan Berardi and Vaughn were the standout players when the White Sox beat the Cubs, 8-1.

Spencer Kane, Aidan Kennedy and Garrett Swan excelled for the Cubs.

The Nationals picked up their first win of the season by prevailing over the Mets, 11-4.

Evan Bishop hit a home run and Drew Wigren had a double while Ziebon Munir and Michael Gerace were outstanding players for the Nationals.

Aidan Melquist delivered two hits for the Mets, who had Joey Pierce and Pearson on the mound.
