Haley, John Win 5K In Salamanca
SALAMANCA – Jack Haley and Haylei John were the winners in the Male Division and the Female Division, respectively, at the fourth annual Gotta Kiss Cancer Goodbye 5K run-walk to benefit cancer research at Vets Park.
Haylei was timed in 21:23 in taking the Female Division and John came in at 24.44 in capturing the Male Division.
The other Male Division champions were Dennis Becker in the 11-18 Division (22:25), Brian Priest in the 19-29 Division (30:24), Kerry John in the 30-39 Division (22:24), Arnie Cooper in the 40-49 Division (30:31) and Brad Sande the 50-plus Division (25:12).
For the females, Syndie John was the winner in the 10-and-under Division (39:29), Andie Hill in the 11-18 Division (26:33), Danielle Reynolds in the 19-29 Division (28:06), Jennifer Bieniek in the 30-39 Division (24:53), Liz Hill in the 40-49 Division (33:06) and Sandi Brundage in the 50-plus Division (36:05).
Cornestone Logistics, Randolph Auto, Salamanca Free Methodist Church, Visual Eyes, Timberbuilt, Den’s Autobody, Haley’s Auto Zone, Myers Steakhouse and Inn, Robotic Surgery in Jamestown, J.D. Northrup and the Seneca-Salamance Chamber of Commerce along with several other businesses, assisted the effort.
Additional help came from volunteers Kelly, Alex and Kruz Coustenis, Diane Crater, Cliff, Pam and Dawn Hogan, Sandy O’Neil, Lorraine Sparks and Mary Szymanek.
