All good men should aid their country

By Maurice Baggiano 1 min read

To the remaining, true patriots in America ...

Acquiescence, my friends, acts as a silent stamp of approval that can be the death knell of humanity.

German theologian and Lutheran pastor, Martin Niemöller, best known for his opposition to the Nazi regime, wisely advised his countrymen against remaining silent the in face of rising fascism when he wrote ...

"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me."

We should take this lesson to heart and speak up and out against the Trump regime's immoral, unlawful, and unconstitutional lust for power ...

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.
