Release The Epstein Files

There’s a lot of news lately about the “Epstein Files.” The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), no “liberal rag” mind you, reports that Trump’s name is in the “Epstein Files” to which Trump has sued the WSJ. Just having Trump’s name in the files does not mean Trump has done anything illegal, but the WSJ, led by Rupert Murdoch, has chosen not to settle the suit. If the suit goes forward, Trump will have to be deposed and may open a can of worms on himself. (Murdoch also owns Fox News that settled a lawsuit with Dominion Voting Machines for $750 million!)
Perhaps the worst fallout from the “Epstein Files” is the fact that few people are talking about justice for the victims! On 7/23/25, the attorney for “200” women and underage girls (at the time), reported to Lawrence O’Donnell (MSNBC) he’s in favor of release of the “Epstein Files” to resolve what they reveal, including the 50th birthday book for Jeffrey Epstein, which may contain Trump’s name.
According to the attorney, no one has contacted the victims for their response to the “Epstein Files”, which is a legal requirement! It’s hard to imagine that anyone in the MAGA group would dispute this legality (and morality) should they answer the question, “What if one of the victims was my daughter?” (BTW, it does not matter who, Democrat or Republican, attended Epstein events!)
Thus, the question is raised, “Why has the Trump administration, and the House, taken extraordinary steps to prevent the release of the “Epstein Files”?” Why has the House prevented legislation to disclose the “Epstein Files”, which has been demanded by many MAGA congresspeople, administration officials (FBI Director, Kash Patel, and his Assistant, Dan Bongino), and voters? The issue is unlikely to go away!
Why has the Trump administration sought to distract the public with fake attacks on people like Barack Obama and Martin Luther King Jr.; suggestion by AG Pam Bondi that there is nothing in the “Epstein Files”; Trump saying, now, that Epstein is not his friend in spite of him saying (earlier) he and Epstein were friends for “15 years”. C’mon MAGA, how much “thinking” does it take!
If Trump was not involved, why pretend otherwise? I thought, for sure, Trump said his administration would be “transparent”. Apparently not! All I can say is “Release the Epstein Files”!
